Lorenzo Cain

Bob Kendrick at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum has often made the point that while you can see the Negro Leagues style — fast, exciting, high-risk baseball — throughout the game, there are certain players who particularly embody the talents and energy of the great Negro Leagues players. Lorenzo Cain would be one of those players. He’s one of the greatest defensive centerfielders the game has ever seen, he’s a big-man (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) who is incredible on the bases, he does it all.
